Zuma: I'll be like Mandela
Johannesburg - African National Congress (ANC) deputy president Jacob Zuma would follow former President Nelson Mandela's example in the fight against corruption, if he were to be South Africa's president, SABC radio news reports.
The national broadcaster reported that Zuma told the BBC on Sunday that he was a firm believer in the fight against corruption.
"I will fight corruption in whatever task I am given by the ANC," Zuma said.
He said there were policies to guard against the crippling of the country's development by corruption.
"I will follow the policies of the ANC in fighting against the scourge in our country and Africa as a whole."
He said he would ensure full participation of the people in fighting corruption.
